As a full-time employee, you will receive 15 days of accrued vacation/PTO per year. Additionally, DST provides 16 paid holidays, and two separate weeks of mandatory paid time off for Summer and Winter breaks. We do all this for self-care, work-life balance, and to avoid burnout in this great, passionate work that we do.
With our Summer (5 days) and Winter (5 days) paid breaks, you will essentially be provided 26 days off plus 16 paid holidays, including your birthday, and your choice of a celebrated day for culture or heritage. DST’s benefits are spectacular!

The Sacramento & Yolo Counties Regional Program Director is responsible for ensuring the delivery and overall success of each DST community within their region. The Regional Director supervises up to 4 Program Managers, and up to 3 additional direct reports. A successful Regional Program Director must have a strategic mindset, broad knowledge of program management principles and demonstrated experience leading and developing their staff.

The Program Manager is responsible for the overall management and operation of our Streets Team Volunteer Program (“STVP”) in Berkeley which encourages unhoused participants, both volunteers (called Team Members) and workforce employees (called Participant Employees) to clean up throughout their community. Clean up shifts are deployed up to 4 days per week in a variety of settings including business corridors, waterways, encampments and other blighted areas. The most critical component of Team management is our Weekly Success Meetings where Team Members share successes, challenges, support, resources, and a meal.

Case Managers may also work with program graduates, future participants known as “wait-listers,” and also do outreach where unhoused people congregate (shelters, encampments, business districts, events, etc.) to recruit new participants.
In this hybrid role, the Housing Case Manager will work directly with the Program Manager assisting unhoused community members residing throughout Monterey County to navigate services, secure housing with those who have received a housing voucher through Monterey County Housing Authority, help them reduce barriers to self-sufficiency through strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills.

This may include helping motel guests with employment and housing resources, accessing physical or mental healthcare, accessing legal or financial services, and other goals.
