DST is very important to me and the Team. Some people cannot get a job and we have help from DST to be able to get our supplies, food and essentials and things we wouldn’t be able to get otherwise. - Monique, Hayward Team Supervisor
The Hayward Team was founded in 2016 through a CDBG grant administered by the City of Hayward. This Team has grown to encompass unincorporated areas of the county as well as the Tennyson Blvd corridor and Downtown area. We have launched our fourth Team along Grove Way, which expands our reach into the Castro Valley area.
