DST expanded to Salinas in 2019. Currently, we operate Teams at the following locations: Downtown, Alisal Neighborhood, Natividad Creek, Cesar Chavez Park, and Chinatown. Our goal is to build community and provide support for folks experiencing homelessness as they prepare to get back into the workforce. Our dedicated staff work side by side with our Team Members, assisting them in achieving all of their goals, including gaining employment and securing a place to call home. Our Team is committed to creating a clean, vibrant, and welcoming Salinas, while building a better life for themselves.

In July 2022 DST Salinas launched a Rapid Rehousing Program for individuals experiencing homelessness in Monterey County. We are able to Financial Assistance and Rental Assistance (up to 6-months) to program participants. We are actively seeking new landlord partners throughout the county and welcome any potential connections.
